Community Life
Within our neighborhood community, residents will find a dynamic, enjoyable living environment where their unique needs are understood and where mutually supportive and meaningful relationships between neighbors will be fostered. Since opening in 2004, Jacob’s Village has developed a network of relationships with disability service providers, area councils on aging, local congregations and other organizations that serve people with disabilities and senior adults. These relationships allow us to offer access to a full spectrum of programs and support services in which residents can participate. Program areas include: Live and Learn, Health and Fitness, Spiritual Life, Recreation and Volunteerism. So here at Jacob’s Village, residents can choose to participate not only in fun activities, but also those that promote life-long education, help maintain a healthy lifestyle, and encourage personal and community responsibility.
