Jacob’s Village is pleased to announce that Kathy Knapp has recently joined the organization as Executive Director.

Ms. Knapp comes to Jacob’s Village following a career as administrator in Long Term Care facilities and, most recently, Director of Market Street Living. Kathy is a native of Evansville and graduated from Indiana University.

She has been active in nonprofit volunteer work, most extensively with Habitat’s Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project where she regularly participates in annual builds.  In addition, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

“We’re excited to have Kathy Knapp as our Executive Director,” said Board member Jay Adams. “She brings wonderful management experience to our organization along with a real passion for serving special needs populations. We look forward to continue building the Jacob’s Village community under Kathy’s leadership.”

Established in 2004, the mission of Jacob’s Village is to develop a safe, walkable, neighborhood community where people with disabilities and older adults can find meaningful relationships, housing that is affordable and accessible, and activities that encourage active minds and bodies.
